Road Closed

Wisconsin

They are replacing a bridge on a road near my house. I'm not usually interested in construction sites, but was pulled into this one by the colors, chaos and action at the site.

Wow, this is something seen everywhere these days. Nice image of all the signs and equipment. I like it!

A busy looking spot.
All those overhead cables, the drivers would need to be on top of their game.

Our whole city is like this starting this week last week... detours everywhere... new water mains.... jack hammers.... they are doing one block down from where I live... people losing their driveways for a few months... I am glad they already did my section... the noise was something else.

Well you certainly nailed the "busy" theme here! Great job with this concept.

lt certrainly is a busy scene Cindy, and "busy" is ideal for this subject.
Lots to look at and enjoy. A most visually stimulating photograph.

The only thing that i don't see is the Crew standing
around while one man does the work. :)

Looks pretty chaotic, Cindy.
Hope the project doesn't take as long as it does down here...otherwise you'll have another shot with snow covering the machines..

Great eye, Cindy. It certainly does look chaotic, but somehow
the job will get done! Your choice of lens was perfect.

Thanks, Bob and Pete.
Yes, Bob, the 150 f/4 Pen-F becomes an effective 300 f/4 on the G2 because of the 2x crop factor. You get the tele perspective flattening at 300mm.

Construction sites are fascinating. Especially when they
are tearing down stuff. I like the way this image is flattened.

Could be a while - it always amazing that you never catch anybody working on road works!!!
