I have posted a picture of the view from our winter condo before, but I just got this roll of film developed and wanted to show you the colors. This is the new Kodak Portra 400 film. I am just enamored by the subtle variation in colors that it produces in a landscape. This was with a 35mm camera. I can't wait to get some landscapes back from my 645 medium format camera with this film.

Lennart, I just love the film look. I like all of the subtle transitions of the colors and tones. I like the grain (if not too overpowering). I love the surprise of getting the film back and putting the negatives in the scanner. It is very time-consuming to scan, but it is always something that I enjoy. There is no immediate gratification with film, but it is sometimes a good thing to wait.

Lovely landscape, lovely soft colors! I am surprised that you take pictures on film, develop them and then transfer them to your computer and finally upload them. Anyway, the result is great!
