Eastern Bluebird

Shiloh, Tennessee

This little guy was, as usual, just within a few feet of his mate, but I didn't have time to wait to get a family shot in the same branch of this old oak. This was cropped and light adjusted and re-sized...that's all.

Canon EOS 60D ,Canon 300/4.0 L USM with 1.4 extender
1/500s f/5.6 at 420.0mm iso500 full exif

Not too hard to figure out how they came up with the name.
A fine shot.

The bluebird has the most beautiful colors and you captured those colors so well. The blurred background makes the bird pop.
