Sandbar

Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Lake Havasu City is a big spring break venue. The buses were rolling into town today loaded with the party bound. I went to the beach and stopped by the Sandbar, but they had not arrived here yet. It looks like the Sandbar is ready for them.

Nice place. Yah, the guys will like the life images of the bikini clad girls. Looks like a great place to eat, drink and watch the action.

Cardboard or not... they look pretty good to me. :0)

But seriously, great photo. I love the simple structure and the colors.

Waiting for the rush-hour tourists.
A lovely tropical scene Cindy.

Looks to be the sort of spot I have been known to be found...some time ago, of course..
You have given it life, Cindy.
I agree with Jim: this belongs on their online ad...

Looks like a fun place to go. In fact, your photo could very well be used to advertise this area!

Thanks Terry. I was using a 40mm with a 2x crop which is 80mm, so I was not very close. I reviewed the shot on the lcd and thought "holy cow"...look at those spring breakers. When I put the photos in LR3, I saw that those are cardboard girls.
