God's Protection

Shiloh, Tennessee

The white tailed deer relies on its sense of hearing and smell to keep away from predators, and its speed to escape, but the best protection given by the Maker is very obvious here...

Somehow its quite poignant, the deer looks quite fearful. Very well shot. Andrea

An extremely fine photograph with your new outfit, Michael.
You did very well to see this well-camouflaged deer

A very unique setting and composition, Michael. Getting the focus on
the head of the deer was a real accomplishment, given all the trees
and branches.

I just saw that you shot this at 1/250. That is pretty impressive with a 300mm lens and a 1.4x extender....even with IS.

Michael, You nailed the focus on the eyes and I love the shiny black nose. She blends right in, doesn't she?
