Scottsdale Waterfront

Scottsdale, Arizona

Water comes into Phoenix through a canal system. This canal that goes through downtown Scottsdale was an eyesore. It is now being developed into the "Waterfront district". There is a bicycle/jogging/horse riding path along one side and exclusive shops, restaurants, and condominiums along both sides.

It good that people have the vision to develop these places and transform them.
Looks like a good place to relax in the summer

Wow... it's like a little paradise down there. Palm trees, canals,
walking and bike paths, etc. I can see why many North Westerners
spend much of the winter there or go there after retirement.

Lovely photo, Cindy.
lt's the same the whole world over !!
For years Melbourne turned its back on the Yarra River that was a nuisance and an eyesore.
Now it fancy shops and restaurants and the most expensive part of town.

Looks like quite an improvement, Cindy. Very nice - you should offer it to the
local Chamber of Commerce.
I love your nicely-composed crisp images.
