A lovely shot of the latter days of fall, and the realization that snow is just around the corner. I take Michael's comments to heart and can't help thinking of the collection of hand held light meters now gathering dust around the house.

A wonderful composition and a very warm feel to this. Very nice colors and it just draws me in.

Michael comments explain why I should extol your technic.
Furthermore this is a lovely peaceful shot and looks like a good park to wander in.

A very well captured scene Cindy.
It looks like Fall has nearly fallen in your neck of the woods.

This looks like a nice spot...it is sad to see the approach of winter..
the only good thing about this time of year for us is the swan migration
starts soon

Looks like a fine encore. I'm sure your Winters
are beautiful in Wisconsin as well.

Isn't it exciting when you think how much challenge you negotiated with a shot like this with the Barnack.
For those unaware, the Leica III is an entirely meter less camera.
Folks, especially those who shoot a lot on aperture priority or program mode; even with "sunny 16" the exposure of film in a camera without a meter is...not easy. The exposure of COLOR film...well, it was enough with my M2, even as much as I enjoyed it, to get me to find an M6.
So, now that we do have the proper perspective, let's enjoy this fine, beautifully-exposed shot all the more.
With a lot of respect for the camera driver. She does know what she's doing...
