Eilean Donan Castle

This castle sits among spectacular scenery of the Scottish Highlands. You may have seen it in films like Highlander and Rob Roy. The mountains in the background are on the Isle of Skye.

Sits magnificently on the hill overlooking the river or sea....just beautiful work. oh my, I can feel and see in my mind's eye people from days gone by walking amongst it.
