A classic image of this very special place. Grand Canyon can be very challenging to shoot. This is a very nice exposure for mid-day but there's no depth without the shadows. Try using the clarity tool or separate the mid-tones a bit more to see if you can build some gamma contrast.

Bob, Thank you. It is a spectacular sight. The gorge is 10-18 miles across. The Colorado River looks like a little ribbon from up on the south rim. You really can't do it justice with a photo.
