Kilve Beach, Somerset

Feeling pretty exhausted after just returning from 8 mile walk around the Somerset coast.
I think these rock formations look fairly unusual, I like the way they almost look man made with gently curving lines.

Nice little nature scene! Colours, leading lines and details are great!

Wow, the tide has really made great art on this coast. Beautiful lines and capture. Don't jump in until the tide comes back in, though. :)

Lovely picture! The formations are exiting!

This is so beautifully photographed, Tony. The ridges are nicely set off by the light-soaked greens on the ridge. The sky is a wonderful color, too.

This is not far from where I used to live in Weston, although I must confess, I never visited this beach at all. Great geological formations here and a lot of history I am sure... Great photo Tony...

I love this, Tony. These are folds in tilted sedimentary
rocks and what looks like a tilted 'angular unconformity' in the beds
to the right. Could be an illustration in Structural Geology 101 :)
Very nicely photographed!

Hi Tony
This is a remarkable and very beautiful scene. An excellent portrayal.
You and Pete should arrange to meet, even without TTL T-shirts. All part of belonging to TTL
TTL's resident Geologist, Terry, will explain this strange formation for us...
You've come up with an outstanding photograph Tony

This is remarkable - we were at Watchet yesterday, a 'stones throw' way.
We should have a ttl T-shirt to recognise each other by.
This a great geologic beach and worthy of investigation.
Well worth you energy to come up with at shot like this.

PS I hope to be walking next couple days on N Cornwall near Hayle.
