This small glacial tarn lies just below the foot of the Darwin Glacier, on the north face of Mount Darwin. Darwin is the giant of the Evolution Region, with a summit elevation of 13,831' and a bulk that easily dwarfs all its neighbors. In the background of this image is Mount Lamarck. Lamarck Col, the second shortest route into Evolution Basin, is on the right skyline.
