Here I am (left) with my friend, Gary Sohler, on the summit of Mount Spencer after
climbing a nice but short technical rock route on the west face of the peak. Mount
Spencer is the diminuitive centerpiece of the Evolution Basin. It is itself a nice,
shapely peak, but is dwarfed by it's neighbors, Mount Mendel, Mount Darwin, Mount
Haeckel, and Mount Huxley. The large peak on the horizon is Emerald Peak.
