This walk will take you through the lovely Thakali village of Chimang(Timang) and on a clear day you will have great views of Dhaulagiri, the Icefall and Tukuche Peak. Head south from Marpha and after about 30-45 minutes cross the suspension bridge on the left. Turn right when you reach the Tibetan village of Chhairo. There is a stiff climb up a gully to Chimang(Timang). Take the lower exit from the village as there is a steep descent to the river and the upper exit is steep and damaged by pack animals. Highly recommended. It will add an hour or so to the walk between Marpha and Tukuche.
