#008 Winter at Duddingston Loch

Its a bleak and stormy winters day here. Due to a late start, and going out tonight I didnt get very far afield. Thankfully we are lucky to have Duddingston Loch in the heart of the city centre here in Edinburgh.

:) Been to Dunsapie a good few times but never the loch - will have to sort that out next time i'm there!

I would like to tell you how I scaled Salisbury Crags and bravely dangled on a precipice all for the shot. But... I just drove up past the duckpond (Dunsapie) hopped out the car and took the shot from the pavement.

I must admit to having never been to Duddingston Loch!?! Where did you get this shot from - looks quite a high vantage point.
