Others include quite a few Northern Pintails and a couple of Greater White-fronted Geese. Of the white (Chen) geese, all the ones I could see in profile showed the grinning patch of a Snow Goose, but it's possible that some of the others are Ross's Geese. Ross's are the more numerous white-goose species at Merced, though this early in the season Snows typically predominate.
