Black-headed Grosbeaks, female/juvenile

my yard, Stanford campus

These two showed up in my back yard, looking not much different in degree of wear on the feathers, which looked pretty fresh to me, so my guess is these are both juveniles -- happy to get further advice on that. (Also, hey guys, that niger feeder requires that you be able to hang upside down, and you can't...)
