A TREE STANDS ALONE

Dallas, TX

We've gotten a lot of rain in January. More headed towards the end of the week. I welcome it as we have been in an extreme drought. The lakes are finally starting to fill up again but we have a ways to go. This is in a park in Dallas I go to when I'm there. Lots of water still standing around. I loved how this tree looked in the midst of the water.

This is an outstanding picture, a true beauty. The sky, the tree and the reflections all very special and dramatic. I also like how the lower branches reach down like arms and reflect in the water.

We have lakes where they aren't any due to rain...I doubt they look as good as this though !!
