OCCUPY WALL STREET IN FORT WORTH

Fort Worth, TX

Well, doesn't look like there are a lot of backers of this movement in Fort Worth. Fort Worth is a very conservative city but I was surprised when I saw there weren't a lot more people. Only 5 protesters here.

I have been seeing the same ones camped out in New York and in New Orleans and I keep asking "why are they not at work", and, if not, "who is supporting this lifestyle-where is the money coming from?"

Personally I find that many in this movement can't articulate common achievable goals but can vent frustration very well. I am not sure that their frustration is well-directed. A nebulous "Wall Street" is easy to chant and rant about but it is hard to place faces with a street and buildings. The 435 representatives and 100 senators in the legislative branch and the executive branch would be a better target of their frustration. Fannie and Freddie should be lumped in there too.

Great capture and processing.

top notch processing...that's a modest camp indeed...in Vancouver the gathering is larger, yet many of the original protestors have left and been replaced by sreet people...after two heroin overdoses, one fatal in the last few days, the camp is soon to be cleared away..

I`m sure they are getting their point across and sticking to their convictions with or without support! Great candid shot Cindi!

I'm not buying in to this movement. I may not like how things are right now but something about this group (not "this" group but the group as a whole) just rubs me the wrong way.

They must not be organized enough, because I know there is a lot of support for the cause. It will grow in time...

Would you like some of ours from outside St Paul's Cathedral?
Cool shot D. Cindi !!

An interesting contrast with scenes of crowds and turmoil in other cities. I think the real 99% are beyond cynicism about ruthless greed in the big end of town that governments seem unable or unwilling to control.

Same scenes here too....

Great candid of these losers! Unfortunately, Philly has a lot more (and they're a belligerent bunch...)

This is a fascinating movement to watch unfold - big or small.

there is something strange about the lower flag... I don't think we have any protesters either we are 100,000 now that they count all the farm communities and local towns into the city count..

Lots of them in Eugene OR

Five more than we have here in Cassville! :-) Maybe some others were out getting coffee?

It is a regular Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

Maybe there were more earlier on? It seems sad in a way to see so few people there. A fine documentary shot, however. V
