BEING HOMELESS IN SUMMER

Fort Worth, TX

It has been so hot and these men are waiting in the shade for the shelter to open across the street. They are waiting to get a meal. Makes me realize that although things aren't great for me, they could be so much worse. I wish I could more to help these people.

Over here there's always a couple that freeze over in the winter... apparently they don't suffer.... phewww! that's a big relief for the government! Vµ

We do what we can, and sometimes just getting the story out is half the battle.

It always hurts me to see them, especially in this awful heat. I don't understand why so many church-going people turn their back on the poor. They ignore them, yet Jesus would have been right over there trying to help.

A strong image Cindi, and I agree with your sentiments entirely.
