DEEPEST EVER!!

Fort Worth, TX

This is the most snowfall we have ever had in recorded history. As of about 10:00 or so it was 9 1/2 inches, however, it is still falling a bit at my house so it will probably get to be 10 inches before the night is through.

I took this image late afternoon right around the corner from where I live. I took a lot of pictures and went out later at night and got some night shots. Lovin' the snow but it will probably mostly be melted by tomorrow afternoon and for sure by Saturday.

That's the way I would like snow to be especially in Texas. Folks down here don't know how to drive in it. I saw about 8 cars in ditches today and some that spun out of control and into other cars. Even saw one that had driven up a light pole (got the picture!)!! So here today, gone tomorrow or the next day but you've gotta get outside a lot when it does happen or you'll miss the beauty and action surrounding it. btw...I've got a 4 wheel drive Jeep and know how to drive in it so all I gotta do is stay away from the crazy drivers.

Wow, that's amazing. I have family living in the panhandle area and they have been bitterly cold down there this winter. This image shows the strength of the storm very well. Drive safe, my friend.

Nice shot. In the 20 years I've lived in San Diego, I've seen it snow once, although it melted as soon as it hit the ground. :-) We do get snow in the mountains just an hour or two to the East and North of us. A few times a year, you can see the snow from downtown San Diego.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH, it looks pretty, but I hate the cold and wet part. If I could photograph snow scenes from a warm inside, it would be heavenly. Glad you are enjoying it! I look forward to many pictures!

Must be a Jeep thing!!! That Toyota doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

My wife got pelted with snowballs by our nephews just east of there. Enjoy it, it will be gone shortly.......thankfully.
