A great candid. It does look funny seeing someone using a serious tripod for a p&S but good on him!

Nice pose you've caught him in - the mysteries of technology.
Guest 28-Jan-2010 01:38
Maybe the camera has a help menu and he is trying to read it.
Available Light Images28-Jan-2010 01:32
He looks happy with what he is looking at, did you figure out what he needed the tripod for?
carol j. phipps28-Jan-2010 00:22
Did he have to pay the meter for that shot?
Ed Preston27-Jan-2010 23:25
A man after my own heart! He almost looks confused over something. Nice candid Cindi!
Phillip Normanton27-Jan-2010 21:14
Se doesn't seem convinced somehow! :o)
Doug Cruden27-Jan-2010 21:09
Good street candid, Cindi....he is taking this togging lark very seriously!!
Ed McConnell27-Jan-2010 20:49
all the comments make sense but I'd add he needs a stool..oh..my knees..
Johnny JAG27-Jan-2010 20:35
Maybe he should read the manual ;-)
Mary Terry27-Jan-2010 20:28
This one made me smile. Great candid shot! :)
Bernard Davis27-Jan-2010 19:52
Obviously a perfectionist at work. Nice catch.
Stewart Mitchell27-Jan-2010 19:38
Hehe..what gets me thinking is...what's the point of carrying around a whopping big tripod for an itsy bitsy P&S camera!?!?!
Katie Chew27-Jan-2010 18:45
Great shot!
Inga Morozoff27-Jan-2010 18:23
I spy with my little eye a (wo)man and little black dog. Anyone else? ;-)
Char27-Jan-2010 18:20
Excellent black and white capture Cindi! \/
LynnH27-Jan-2010 17:41
Great find Cindi! I love using my P&S camera! You can take it where no big cam can go! Great for stealth shots too. I think this guy is videoing. But I like his seriousness and dedication for getting a good shot. As long as it isn't "up-skirt" photos... LOL!
Ronald Bijtenhoorn27-Jan-2010 17:09
Nice shot, like the expression of concentration
Guest 27-Jan-2010 16:02
I'm sure it's a video, probably of walking legs or car wheels passing by.
globalgadabout27-Jan-2010 14:50
unusual, yet he is to be admired for his resourcefulness and ambition...there have been many excellent images posted on pbase shot with P&S cameras...good catch Cindi...V
Gary Blanchette27-Jan-2010 14:45
Hey I'm all for using anything at your disposal and of course getting the best shot with whatever it is you can afford.
Wolfgang Bluhm27-Jan-2010 14:16
Yes, looks funny. Wonder if he's doing video though rather than still shots. In that case the tripod would make a lot of sense.
Barbara Heide27-Jan-2010 14:13
this is serious! pbaser MarioN, would love it! he is always complaining about my handheld shots and suggest use of tripot! A serious young man!
J. Scott Coile27-Jan-2010 13:07
In that light too... How funny.
Guest 27-Jan-2010 12:52
A great capture Cindi, he looks so concentrated!!!!
Karsten Askeland27-Jan-2010 12:35
