Coordination 2

Description:    Matched pair of double switch plates with perimeter design taken from the ivy pattern of the wall paper used at the log home. Also see "COORDINATION".
Wood:Birch - United States
Finish:"Minwax" (fast-drying) Polyurethane, Clear Semi-Gloss.
Size:Each Approximately 6" H x 7" W x 1" D.
Notes:The design for this pair of double switch plates was achieved by scanning sections of the wall paper, enlarging the resulting files by 160%, arranging selected leaves on a drawing of the perimeter of the circular frame (selected first), and tracing them using a light table. The completed design was scanned, and the resulting file was rotated 180 degrees about a vertical axis to create a second file which was a mirror image of the first. These two files were printed, cut out, taped to the prepared wood pieces, and the pattern was traced to the wood using carbon paper and a red ball point pen (to insure that all of the design was reproduced).

other sizes: small medium large original auto
