This looks so different than in the summer. Notice the two people walking on the lake on the left side of photo and then just to the right of center a lone person is up against the front of the glacier. Hard to see but she is there. The face of the glacier is about a mile and a half across. Its not advisable to walk so close to the face of the glacier as that it can still calve a burg off and crush the ice your walking on.
