NGC 6781 is a Typical looking planetary nebula.(PN)
A PN is formed when a star is reaches the end of its life.
The star begins to dump out its material that expand outward from the star in a ring of hot ionized gas that we see as a planetary nebula.
The Blue star in the center of the ring is the PN's generator
( can be seen better in the next zoomed in image)
NGC 6781 is located in the constellation Aquila the Eagle.
