California nebula NGC1499

AlthoughIt it is almost 2.5° long on the sky and, it is extremely difficult to observe visually.
Here only the central part is seen.
It lies at a distance of about 1,000 light years from Earth(WIKI)

Imaged with the Boren-Simon 10" F2.8 POWERNEWT Astrograph.
SBIG ST8300M with FW5 filterwheel with BAADER LRGB filters
LRGB with 38 min LUM and 4 min for each color total of 50 minutes.
