M 46 or NGC 2437

M 46 or NGC 2437, a fine Open Cluster with some 500 stars, 150 or so in a range of 10 to 13 Magnitude. Also visible is the Planetary Nebula, NGC 2438 that appears to be within the apparent border of the cluster, it is probably not a true member of the cluster itself and is superimposed.
