Hadrian's Wall , the only extant red sandstone section , anywhere.

Dovecote Bridge , Walton , Cumbria view map

This section of Wall,was left exposed from 1963 to 1983 and suffered much damage.So,it was decided to make it safe ,then cover it over to protect it long term.
