Getting a shot of the iconic Moulton barn and Grand Tetons is on the bucket list of many photographers.
To get ideal morning light on the Moulton barn, our group got up long before dawn to claim the best spots
before other photographers show up.
Most people spend the twilight time carefully setting up their compositions,
looking west to check the light on the barn and mountains,
eagerly waiting in the freezing cold for the first rays of sunlight.
I made numerous images of the barn that morning
and have been photographing it the same week in October for over a decade.
But when I look to the east, the twilight sky is my compelling scene.
