On a tip from a local, our group drove west of Yellowstone, into Idaho,
and along a dirt road near Henry’s Lake. A thick grove of aspens made a lovely setting.
My enormously gifted friend Tim May often photographs a lonely leaf,
and I was thinking of him as I composed this image.
I was tempted to pluck one leaf, but felt these two belonged together a little longer.
