WE MET MR. ANGEL DELGARDILLO' his wife and daughter on one of our many visits to Seligman. Mr. Angel and I sat on the bench in front of his shop. He spoke of his broken heart seeing His town changing. I said to him, I have a poster in my home of Seligman Main Street. For a long time had no idea where the Life photo was from. When Mr. DELGARDILLO told me the Gentleman in the photo was is his brother, I felt the love this fine man had for His town and family. I asked him, where is the small brick pier In the photo? So, he walked me over to the pier. The pier was the second thing in the photo that I had to see. Well Mr. DELGARDILLO offered me a brick from the pier, , I said to him, I couldn't. I just couldn't. You know I wanted too, but felt another part of his town and history would be leaving his beloved Home. The next time I saw Mr. Delgardillo. Was in The "CARS". Felt like I saw Santa Claus. Well Let me say, in my life, Mr. DELGARDILLO & Family will never be forgotten. My rout 66 belt buckle my wife bought at Their Gift Shop is, my connection to the Fine Man with a Love we all should have for our Country. Mr. Angel Delgardillo will never be forgotten. GOD, must be happy to have this Special Angel.

A very good portrait of a man in his "environment".
