Autumn Reflecting Pools, October 9th

A favorite tranquil autumn scene depicting the lighthouse shore.
This image makes a beautiful enlargement.
So far we've taken it up to 30 inches wide and it was perfectly nice.

Why so many Split Rock Lighthouse images?
The way I look at it, it's not just about the Lighthouse --
although it's certainly a great subject, melding nature with man --
but it's all about the lake itself, and its
shoreline: the rocks,
the weather, the colors, textures, and moods.
I shoot often from this particular position just as a challenge
to find how many different looks it will provide
for the artist.
