vThis is brilliant, almost like an X-Ray.
I still have an old valve record player somewhere in the loft! perhaps I will dust it off and dig out the the old vinyl and bakelite records........

Cool shot. I've got loads of these, but now it's Ipod. Analog is still nicer to listen to. V

Doesn't seem that long ago really. Like how you set it up, Colin

they were great for making up your own compilations...

I remember. I have a stack of Italian ones. Now everything is in iTunes. What next?

I do! Recorded lots of good stuff on them.

I have a Nakamichi DR-2 cassette deck and still play my music cassettes. I was playing one a few weeks ago and a friend asked if he could borrow the CD. He didn't believe me when I told him it was a cassette. Do you remember 8-Track? The sound quality leaves IPod rubbish in it's wake.

How times change and how quickly, nowadays. Excellent shot.

Thanks for the memory, Colin.

It has been a while! WOW!!

I've just thrown some cassette cleaning tapes away and even some blank tapes. Still got a cassette player and tapes copied from vinyl which, of course, we never use and probably never will do!

I was thinking how quickly these passed with the advent of digital music and CDs and now iPads. Great idea and beautifully photographed. I like the tones and the age on it. V.

I still have most of mine, probably 500-600. I don't listen to them anymore. Everything is on iPods now.
SRW29-Jan-2013 21:55
I've still got a few, somewhere... -- but nothing to play them on...!
Brian Samuel29-Jan-2013 21:32
It's one of those old fashioned CDs. Just seems to be a little short on tape.
Graeme29-Jan-2013 21:29
I remember the cassette very well, Colin.BV

Used them big time in the 1970s and 1980s. They sounded pretty good at the time. V.
Johnny JAG29-Jan-2013 20:24
Nah, way before my time mate.
Kim29-Jan-2013 20:16
Long time since I've seen one of those:-) V
