IC2220 Huge faint outer halo

When a high contrast stretch is applied to the data we can see that there is a faint but extensive
outer halo around the main bright nebula and the field is full of faint Milky Way molecular dust.

The dust in the central regions of the field seems fairly confined to around the jug though, so while much of it is likely unrelated the star must be lighting up some of it further out than would have first appeared in the unstretched data..?

This isn't really a halo, just unrelated dust. I'm now resisting the urge to send you a list of planetary nebulae with haloes. :-)
