The mirror is made from low expansion Supramax glass from Schott in Germany which has
the same thermal expansion properties as the more well known Pyrex = 3.25 X 10-6/K.
With a Strehl value of 0.991 this mirror has a Peak to Valley (PV) wavefront error
of slightly better than 1/10th wave with an RMS error in this wavefront of just
1/66th wave and only 1/100 wave of astigmatism present - I think that's pretty good.
The mirror has a 97% reflective HiLux coating that is predicted to last 25yrs.
The Wynne corrector has a reducing power of 0.95 making the final scope speed F3.8
The 110mm secondary flat is produced to the same standard as the primary ie 1/10th wave.
