Guiding with Astroart

A short full frame exposure is snapped to find a suitable guide star. A small square is drawn
around the star and "guide" clicked in the camera control panel. The star then shows up in a
seperate window in realtime, clicking on "mark guide star" markes the star with a cross hair and
autoguiding starts. The star being used here is about 12th magnitude so 3 sec guide exposures are being used.
