Another attempt at editing a time-lapse composite of my shots of the December 2011 partial lunar eclipse as seen from the east shore of Lake Monona. When shooting this, I had not intended to do a time-lapse, so assembling the shots together wasn't easy. I've put together a few of these and just can't come up with a final result that I love. Chose a square crop on this one because it seems to work a little better. The first shot (upper left) was at 7:53 am local and the final shot just before the partially eclipsed moon set was at 8:11 am. Canon 7D, ISO800, 185mm lens, f/6.3, exposures from 1/10 to 1/80th seconds. Assembly in Photoshop CS5.
