Indeed, this seems to be a good social commentary shot on conspicuous consumption or excess in western culture. The noise gives this a news article feel.

Ray: as a former R1 owner (loved its image quality and its CMOS sensor), I see instantly that the perspective is from waist level, while your LCD is flat on the top of the R1 and you're looking down on it! ;) Good memories for me! Our "local" Costco is quite far away for me here in NYC, and, as I do not own a car, I don't have the occasion to visit too often. My oh my...so many LCD tv's! The "land of plenty"?
