I like this photo a lot. I disagree with Konstantin. I think that there are many times that noise actually enhances the mood of an image!! It doesn't seem at all too much here. I even add noise to some of my photos occasionally.

Well done.

On my PC screen the noise is not as strong as on Mac but still slightly disturbing. I am not sure that I agree with you here. Noise for *me* is disturbing factor wich can ruin the best photo.
I also have a feeling of being intrusive - that was one of the reason why I finally moved to SLR with good telelenses.

Thanks jp, Konstantin and Dale. Yup, there is a bit of noise in here, but that happened during my work on the overall scene. Personally I can life with it. Dale, I think I fully understand your point of feeling intrusive. Since I have the R1 the top mount screen has helped me a lot to overcome this. :-)
Cheers,
Frank

I enjoy these candid shots very much but am reluctant to take them because I always feel intrusive (but that's my hang-up and I have to live with it) Any noise in this type image is not an issue. To eliminate that would require a flash (or $$$ lens) and it would no longer be a candid. There's always a story in shots like this and I wonder what this one is? Dale

Fully agree with Inframan - it's an excellent slice of life. Great contrast between the 'Italian Cooking' and what do they eat. As a minor point there Frank - is a noisy. I will check tomorrow on another monitor but on my home Mac it is really noisy.

I love these kinds of intimate *slices of life*, Frank, here especially enhanced by the muted tones & wonderful detail. The lady is about to tell the man to leave his papers & eat his burger before it gets cold.
