Jo, I've never given much thought to photographing bare trees, but this image is very inspiring! You've taken a common winter sight and turned it into a beautiful photograph. The backlighting made all the difference and you captured it so perfectly! Very nice work!

Very wintery silhouette - the light is cool and crisp, with the leafless tree playing on the theme of cold. The purplish tint to the sky all bring Jack Frost to mind.
