Beautiful ball - I like the other image best, but I like this one also, and it's good to see the whole ball! I didn't know what it was, and agreed with the others that it must be some alien landscape :-)

Melanie, really nicely done and I love the composition. Still I prefer the other image more. First I thought the reason for this is actually the snow which brings a pattern of reality into the scene IMHO. Finally I believe it is just the bright left under corner that distracts my view a bit. :-)

Very nicely done, Melanie. I actually like this image better. I really like the flares coming off the top of the float. Again, the colors and lighting are superb!!

Although I prefer the first version of "Float" (because it fills the frame), this one is nice too. This one does match the title better I guess. In the first version, I can't tell that anything is "floating" :-) Beautiful colors and patterns in both!
