Budapest Over Mantle
by FredS

This is not a setup. It's the left side of our mantle as it sits...
I didn't even move a candlestick before I lit 'em and shot 'em.
That's a turn-of-the-century panorama of Budapest behind the candles.
Six different B&W 8x10s in a 5-foot wide frame!

other sizes: small original medium auto

I like the intersecting lines of the row of candles with the picture frame and bricks. The image evokes a feeling of nostalgia. I wonder how a border would look on it, as the image dissolves into pbase's black background a little along the bottom edge.

FredS, this is really intersting...I like how the candles are reflected off the picture, and I like the overall lighting effect the group of candles has on the image (sets a mood and brings out textures of the wall, glass, and frame). Neat one. MFC
