Abe Lincoln at work in 2002.jpg

An attempt at humor. You see, in 1820 or thereabouts, Abe wrote on a slate
by candlelight, butin 2002 he would use . . . oh, well.

This is a good idea, Tom; and I think it has good composition. I'm not too adept at technical detail so I can't comment about compression artifacts...if you feel like trying the shot again, you are welcome to repost it. MFC

I like the feeling of motion in this one. - Shay

O.K. should have done that immediately : A JPEG artifact is a block pattern, a halo along contrast lines or other disturbances in the picture caused by a to strong JPG compression of the picture. It was not there originally but it is created by the compression. In this picture you see for example a lot of blocks, pixels grouped together into block shapes, where it used to be a smooth surface, look at the lower borders of the monitor. Suggest to try to repost the same picture but with less compression.

Nice idea. Good job to also have the hands in there. Image shows a lot of JPEG artifacts, especially on the monitor surface.
