Thank you, everybody, for your comments! It's always a spectacular view, but for some reason the light seemed special that evening. Wish I could get away from the office to see it again while I'm here, but I never will :-(. Helen

Thank you for the comment! Actually, this is a pretty far distance across the Bosporus. I took it from the terrace of a hotel near the Covered Bazaar, zooming in on the Blue Mosque (in itself fairly distant) to the Asian side, which is situated across a somewhat wide body of water.
