Thanks to both. Daniel, fortunately the thing changes color all it's own...I just had to time the shot to catch the transition between colors. It's an old fiber-optic display sculpture from the 80's...a color wheel spins in front of a bulb to rotate through a series of colors, while the fiber optic strands light up at their tips and rotate. I just shut off all the light in the room and closed down the aperture to catch only the light.

I remember this image, Justin. I liked it then and I love it now. Excellent job of capturing motion!!! The colors are just wonderful and I love the trail of lights!!

Beautiful, Justin, with its complimentary colors and the sense of fast movement! I love it (without having a clue to what it might be). How, BTW, did you get that one thing to «turn» green on one side and red on the other ;-) ?? — db.
