The slide was ok - but the photo lost a lot of quality by scanning

I like the way the upper-right portion is naturally brightened here... as if to say 'have you seen the light?'.... love the photo overall, a fine look into a city from the old world!
A very interesting photo. You have captured the textures of the stones as compared to the "smooth" background of the painting. Too bad the extreme rear portion of the shot must have been in bright sun. Still an excellent shot.
