Hanging by a Thread

Istanbul, Turkey

I was walking down the street in Istanbul's Sultanahmet district when I came across this "apple tree" in the middle of a courtyard. I just loved the sight of all this fruit suspended by threads in the middle of winter, in the heart of the city.

Looking at the thumbnail, I thought this was a shot of a christmas tree! Nice capture Helen, gives me hope that not all is lost in the big city!
