22-APR-2007 Helen Betts

8th
Closed on Sunday

by Helen Betts

Washington, D.C.

This is our dry cleaners, which always has dog cookies for our dog, Tilki. Whenever we take a walk to the park, she immediately heads here and even if I have no laundry to bring or pick up, goes in and starts talking for a treat (or two or three). Needless to say, Sundays are not her favorite day...

Cute shot of your smart little dog!

A portal to sustinence. Poor dog, having to deal with the human constraints of calendars and time! What's a Sunday to a dog? Well composed and lit - I like the use of vertical here.

Cute shot Helen... Wonder what's in your dog mind at that time...

I thought it was a cat at first. (Apologies to your dog.) I love the sign & the reflection in the door, too.
I used to live in Chappaqua & saw a Canada goose walk up to a realty office in the center of town & do this exact same thing. Alas I had no camera with me. :(

Welcome back to DC Helen. Is this on Capitol Hill? That is one bright (and cute) pooch. Good that you were toting your camera....nice catch. John
