Thanks for the comments. Melanie, I can't remember exactly what I did in post-processing - I probably made a duplicate layer, and did soft light, or maybe hard light, blending mode, then changed the levels some, and sharpened a lot. The lake was frozen, and there were piles of old snow around the table.

Another interesting creation, Katherine. Looks more like an etching than a photograph. Nice effect and very nice composition.
