Upcoming Odor
by Franky2005

Actually I do not know whether I should get worried about myself. This is the second macro I bring to the challenge within a week. Never was a big fan before. :-) Must be related to the winter time ...

Very striking image, Frank, and I really like the perspective. Helen

Nicely done, I like the crispness and texture, makes me want to pop off a couple of cloves and start simmering a sauce.

Nice macro of garlic - I like the texture, lighting, and white background!

The lowly garlic as an objet d'art. Nice textural detail, Franky - and I know what you mean by relating it to winter time. Bev

Cool macro Frank... The sharpness of the peeling skind of garlic is really crisp... Great details... Did you use any filter or just onboard macro setting..?

haha, I noticed the sudden shift to macro too, Frank! Usually doesn't do much for me either but you picked a pretty unique thing compared to the majority of close-up subjects, and it really works! It's a great study in texture and very well composed!

Thanks for starting us off in Eligible, Frank. I like your shapely garlic macro....& I think the crop is really effective here. Good sense of texture with the peeling skin...nice exposure too. Nice shot, Frank...I can almost smell it myself :) MFC
