11-APR-2005 Daniel Bollag

RushHour by Daniel Bollag

In this modification of Daniel's image http://www.pbase.com/stfchallenge/image/65779004) I tried to lighten up the dark parts, as I thought the contrast was too high. IMHO it helps the picture and makes it a more realistic atmosphere.

Cheers,
Frank aka Franky2005

Thanks, Franky, for offering a different view of my image. I might need to get used to it. But at first sight I think you gained detail for sure, but lost my idea of what the picture was supposed to show: that difference between «Heaven and Hell» (where heaven meant the sunlit buildings and hell the traffic-jam). Please leave your version here so maybe others will give us their opinions. — db.
